Hi masters,

In implementation process after completion of configuration in FINAL PREPARATION phase we have to do testing. There r different testing aspects, UNIT TESTING, INTEGRATION TESTING & END USER TESTING etc..., here my doubt is

1) what tool required to do testing?

2) what is the purpose of ECATT

3) Is there any Special Testing Tool is in SAP

4) It is different module?

Raja,

Of course simply running the transaction doesn't mean any thing , you need to maintain details of the all the scenarios and

details of the transactions

values you used in that

result of the transactions

any error messages

details of the errors (how you solved )

revisions (if any)

Like you need to test all scenarios (unit as well as the Integration)

if you have the facility of ECATTS you record all you transactions in the system that will prove you, you have tested successfully.

Hi,

You need testing following Scanrio:-

1) All transcation in business process should be test for user acceptance

2) Testing Betwwen FI with integeration with other modul

3) You are mention SCATT. This transcation is not showing in system. Actually Scat is the transcation for use for data uploading special in Material Data.

Raja,

For Testing purpose you better to maintian scenarios,

Scenario : make for every transaction as a scenario

like that you maitnain all transactions in to different scenarios, then you can go ahead with your testing.
