Dear experts

i have a doubt on fixed assets.

my client wants to settlement an AUC in T.code AIBU

i am putting the date as follows

Document Date-06.03.2008

Asset val. date-20.02.2008

Posting Date-06.03.2008

my question is that

after settlement of AUC could i post deprecation for the month of february and march

Hi,

You can post the depreciation for Feb and Mar since the Asset Value date is in Feb. This date will be defaulted as the Asset Capitalisation Date in the Asset Master Record.
