Hi Everyone,
We add an account under the cash, Level 5 and we name it 111320 - Cash Incentive Clearing Account. We use that account as a clearing account when we do transaction in incoming payment so we can deduct the Receivable of a customer for incentive in the proper period. But we got this warning: "A CASH ACCOUNT IS REQUIRED. CHOOSING A DIFFERENT ACCOUNT MAY CAUSE INACCURACIES IN THE CASH FLOW REPORT" when we choose the account in the payment means under the incoming payment.
What could be the cause of this warning message? And what thus it mean?
Thanks in advance..
Regards,
Malu
Hi Malu,
When you added your account under the Cash, it is not automatically giving this account cash account status. Please check this account to make sure Cash Account check box is checked. Only that box tell system this is a cash account.
Thanks,
Gordon
