Hello Team

Is theere any difference between master data and transactional data?

Please advice.

Yes, they are different:

Masterdata is supposed to stay same for some time, new updations are rare and volume of the data is pretty low as compared to transactional data. In SAP HR, masterdata is stored in infotypes.

Transactional data contains a lot of records updated, added or deleted on high frequency. I think what is stored in clusters is the transactional data.

So would you be having any idea on how to transfer Transactional data from R/3 to ECC?

For master data i understand can be done through LSMW/BDC.
