Transports in PI 7.1

I heard that its not easy to transport Graphical mapping from PI 7.0 to PI 7.1.

If so,may i know what are the problems we face.Thank you.

Actually, there is no such problem in transport of message mapping. Where have you heard such things? The message mapping transport in PI 7.1 would be similar as that in PI 7.0.

However if you are thinking about one PI 7.1 server to another (Dev to QA or Prod), then certain things have to be kept in mind. e.g. There is possibility of using global UDF for various Message Mappings as Function Library. In case ur message mapping incorporates such UDFs then while transport this Function Library must also be transported.

except for any special Java modules and adapters all the other content is absolutely transferable to PI 7.1 from both 3.0 and 7.0.
