Hello Gurus,
I am new to this forum.
I have over 10years of total IT experience in different line of businesses. Currently I am working as a Product Manager (which involves both technical & service / sales) in the USA. When I was browsing the net about SAP, I found SAP CRM would be the good option for me to get into SAP arena. But, not sure about the opportunities in SAP CRM.
I have following questions:
1) How SAP CRM is doing in the market?
2) Why clients go for SAP CRM implementation as
Siebel CRM / Salesforce.com products are already available
in the market?
3) Considering current economic situation, is it a good idea to
jump into SAP field?
Could you clarify my doubts.
Thanks in advance,
Vishwa.
1) SAP CRM is doing very well in the martket. If you look at the last Forrester Report 2008, you will see that SAP CRM is one of the leaders.
2) One of the main reasons is that they already have SAP ERP in place, and all the interfaces for communication are ready and all the integration issues are very easy to solve because they are prepared to be integrated.
3) I don't think changing my career path, so I would recommend it.
