Authorization Object Changes in ECC6.0

Former Member

We've recently upgraded from 4.7 to ECC6.0 (just a month ago) and we had some security roles that authorized end users access to run some transactions such as OB09 in production. This was while the system was still locked for maintenance. Now that we've upgraded to ECC6.0, the roles are not allowing those end-users access to run OB09 and I was hoping someone has run into this or may know of a solution. There could be authorization objects that are new and need updating. Thanks in advance...Brian

Dear,

Authorisation is a generic term which is same as it's literal meaning.

Authorisations can be given with the help of several authorisation objects those are assigned to roles. these roles are assigned to users.

check out the transaction su01 -> roles tab.

you can check pfcg-> roles. Here you can see the authorisation objects assigned to a particular role

I think you need to define it in ECC6.0.
