Migrating from JRC to .NET: Prerequisites and efforts?

Hi everybody,

we are planning to migrate from JRC to a .NET based solution. Am I right that the .NET SDK for Crystal offers the same functionality (ADO dataset processing, build-in viewer) as the JRC? What are the prerequisites to run the .NET SDK? Is a lean solution as possible with JRC (no RAS server) also possible with the .Net SDK?

- You have to add the correct references, but I believe the White Paper in the link above specifies those. You should be able to use any version of CR, from 9.1 to 2008

Is a lean solution as possible with JRC (no RAS server) also possible with the .Net SDK?

- absolutely. Again, see the WP in the above link
