MSCS "Move Group" fails initially then works

I have the odd behavior that when I attempt to move my SAP cluster group one or both of my instances fails to move and drags the entire group back.

After failing on the first couple attempts the group moves fine and from that point on it moves back and forth without a problem.

I randomly see this behavior on all my SAP cluster installs that are ABAP+JAVA and wonder if anyone else has experience this.

I resolved this with Note 1043592 - MSCS: Cluster Resource Monitor Crashes on W2K3 SP2.

The note had us update two DLLs which resolved the problem.

Bill,

I have also experienced this in our dual stack. I think if there is a delay in the cluster drive fail over the central instance and central services will not start up because it cannot find the profiles. But if you have figured out and want to share your experience, please do so.
