We created a profile to distinguish some users to receive the appropriate data.
We selected the object Store.State from efashion universe in Profile Target and then we associated the user with the Profile Value. One user would only receive data from New York, Texas, Massachusetts and Illinois (the webi formula used was In List[New York, Texas, Massachusetts and Illinois]). Another one would only receive data from California, Colorado, DC, Florida (the webi formula used was In List[California, Colorado, DC, Florida]).
Afterwards we created a publication containing just WebI reports based on efashion universe. We set enterprise recipients with the users we had mentioned in the profile. In the personalization area we applied the reports with the profile we'd created as Global Profile. We set to deliver all reports in PDF format and in the user's Inbox.
We don't have profiles conflicting each other and we set one database fetch for all recipients as bursting method due to it´s a low-volume scenario.
We scheduled the publication to run immediatelly and it ran successfully.
But the filter did not work and all users received PDF reports showing data from everywhere.
We don't know if we forget to make some procedure, but we built our publication based on the Publishing Guide.
If you can help us we will appreciate a lot.
