Hello folks,
We have a requirement regarding printing PO.
Currently the PO transmission to the vendors is through email.
After the email tranmission, one of the users (requestors) would like to have a print out of the form. (Note the user has only ME23N access in Production).
My query is how can the user take a print out of a PO that has message type as 5(email transmission) without adding a new message type?
From the print preview in ME23N, the print icon itself gets greyed out.
Also from ME9F (and selecting processing status 1 ), the trial print did not print. Display message too has the same issue i.e. print icon gets greyed out.
Additional info:- the user has SP02 access.
Thanks,
Sam
Hello,
In this case, you have to setup Requester as a partner for output determination (Print-out) in addition to the Vendor (Email). Then two outputs will be determined and Requester can print using ME9F.

Thanks Ravindran for the inputs.
Can you elaborate when you said to save the spool in the system.
I did try to 'Print with changed parameters'. However the prints were not of the PO.
Anything I missed?
Also, how would one find a spool specific to a PO, given a spool list.
I did try a similar option earlier, but had the same issue.

Sameer

Hi
Go to the PO message output, check out processing log.You will find out the spool number.
Then go to SP01, give the spool number, it will display the spool.Double click the spool, it will display the print output.
Save the spool output in the system, then you can take print in local system.

Ravindran
