Date of Origin

HI Experts,

Please tell me the purpose of "Date of Origin" feild in IT0015. and what kind of date it is?

When i am trying to get the report for this in SQ01, i am getting date as "00/00/0000". But some date is there in IT0015.

If i try to create a new record, by default i am getting one date in that feild. from where this date is appearing?

kindly give me the details.

Indhar,

Can you check if the 'Date of Origin' in infotype 0015 is same as start date of org assignment in infotype 0001. If so, this will be maintained in configuration of infotype 0015.

Personnel Management -> Personnel Adminstration -> Customizing procedures -> Infotypes -> Open the info type and double click on infotype 0015.

Hi,

Basing on the Current Contro record date, the Date of Origin 'Date' will appear in IT0015.

For data uplaod, we can mention our date in LSMW program as a constent field, then you get the problem.
