"AS-IS" is a document which gives/ shows current processes @ client place. This will be given by the core team at your client place.

In "TO-BE" document you are going to show/ represent, how client processes can be run in SAP.

You "TO-BE" will become base for creating the "BBP". Most of the time, "TO-BE" will be used as "BBP".

Usually you can not map all the processes currently being used in client place in SAP. So you have to do gap study & make final BBP.

If you find the explanation useful, don't forget to give points .

AS-IS document which reflect the client current processes.

TO-BE document reflects how client processes are run in SAP.

Most of the time TO- BE doument itslef is a Business Blue Print document (BPP).

As 100% mapping of all the process with standard SAP is not possible there are bound to be some gaps. Gap Analysis is carried out to address those gaps in SAP.

Hope this helps!

As IS - current process

To be - desired process

BBP - the document which takes you from as is to to - covers how the gap between as is and to be will be plugged
