Sending Email from Portal in Workflow

Hi All,

I have requirement that i need to send Email notification to various users in a CAF-GP workflow, either on click of a button or while navigating from one Action to another in the.Workflow.

Please guide how can i do this.I m using EP-CE(7.1)

I also tried creating an 'Email Notification' type CO and use it in flow, but no success.

I also tried configuring the SMTP Server Details at following location in portal:

System Administration --> System Configuration -->UME Configuration --> Notifications Emails.

Please Guide.

Hi Sakshi,

You can use Notification Callable Object to do that. In u201CSet Configurationu201D step, you can define whether e-mail will be sent to members of process role or e-mails passed via context parameter.

To configure mail settings, go to Administration workset (you should have GP Administrator role), GP Configuration Tool -> Interactive Forms.

To create e-mail templates, goto to Administration workset, Maintain E-Mail Templates.
