Dear Consultants,
Does Payroll (India) provide for Salary Advances (Not Loans)? It should be paid out of the amout due to the employee during the month & to be recovered from the immediate salary in one installment.

Dear Bindu Madhav
How are your. Hope your fine
You can create an wage type with name ADVANCE & maintain infotype 0045-loans. Run a offcycle and pay him advance . In the normal payroll that particular wage type should get deducted. Try it. AM trying it , if I get it , will let you know.

Yes, As suggested by Chintan you may create an wage type for as sal advance and maintain infotype 45 Loans. This would be easier for recovering either in one installment of in multiple installment.
