Authorization for BOM

Hi PP Experts,

Can anybody tell me how I can restrict to create & change BOM for other Users. They can acess only Display.

Dear,

The object C_STUE_BER (CS BOM Authorizations) is the one what you're looking for.

or you can use C_AENR_BGR object to restrict.

The Authorization Object: C_STUE_BER

BOM Usage - STLAN

Generally it will be given as *.

You can restrict the authorizations based on the Usage.

Best way take help from Basis consultant.

Or try this,

Tcodes for Creating authorisation object - su20,su21.

su20 - create the authorisation field list.

su21 - Create a object class,include the addedauthorisation object.select the tcode assignment and assign to the needed tcode.

Go to the User profile and add the object manually give the authorisation .

OR,

You haven't to creare a new authorizazion, but only update the authorizations profiles of all users should use the new trx.

So u should check by SU01 and PFCG which profiles and/or rules are assigned to your users and update them.

Or you can create a new role/profile having only you trx:

For profile trx PFCG:

Insert a name and press create;

In MENU tab insert your trx

In AUTHORIZATIONS tab generate the profile

In USERS tab assign all users have to use the trx;

Use the transaction code CS01, Cs02, Cs03 for authorization, Auth object to be used is S_TCODE.

Create a role with S_TCODE with valuse CS01 and CS02 and one more role with S_TCODE value - Cs03.

Assign the role to required people as per the job role requirement.

Hi,

Contact ur Basis person and tell him to create roles to users such that only authorizatin exist for CS01 not for CS02, CS03.
