Local language on PO created from PR

Hi,

We are maintaining short description of each and every material in local language (other than english). When the PR is created for material with material master, the short description in local language is picked properly. For items without material master, short description is entered in local language while creating the PR.

While converting PR to PO, the short description is coming only in english. In PO, I need the short description only in local language as it is appearing in PR. Please let me know the settings required for this.

hi,

As per my knowledge the shot texts are always copied from the master data's...If you don't have the MMR then you shd use the PIR(Purchase inforecord)...then it will get copied to PO...

The Short description will be picked up basing on the Communication language of the Vendor..you are using in the PO creation..

Go to XK03 trxn and check the Communication language of the Vendor..
