Hi

We like to use Proxy Generation and Proxy Runtime for ABAP in Web AS 6.20. I understand this is part of Web AS 6.40 and need to install APPINT plug in 6.20 for using the same.

Any idea on this?

Regards

Chandu

Hi Chandu,

Yes that's true; you need to install the Appint for XI 2.0 on the application system where you want to use the ABAP proxy framework.

See this link for more info:

Hi

We are using XI 3.0. I can't find the relevant doc from the link you sent.

Does Appint need to be installed on Web AS 6.20 for connecting to XI 3.0?

Hi Chandu -

Yes, for any Web AS 6.20 based application/business system communicating with your XI 3.0 system, you'll need the APPINT 200_620 (also called XI Add-on) installed.

Hi Chandu -

You can get it on the service marketplace:

http://service.sap.com/swdc

Then navigate to:

Support Packages and Patches->SAP NetWeaver->SAP NetWeaver components ( < SAP NW 04 )->SAP EXCHANGE INFRASTRUCTURE->SAP EXCHANGEINFRASTRUCTURE 2.0->Integration Server

Look at note 439915 for application instructions.

Hope that helps...

Best regards,
