Excel link when reopening workbook

Hello,

Iu2019m the following issue : I use Bex Analyzer (SAPGui 7.10 patch 4 Bi-addon for SAPGUI 7.10 patch 9 Microsoft Excel 2002 SP 3).

I save a workbook in excel format, I close Bex and Excel, and when I reopen this excel file, an excel window is displayed with two choices : update or not link.

In the menubar Edit / Link, I see two link : BEXAnalyzer.xla and sapbex.xla.

How can I do to avoid this problem : (not to save these two link when I save my workbook) ?

Hi,

You can avoid getting this prompt by goifn to Edit->Links in the menu bar and then there is an option by clicking which you would open anothe dialog where you have three choice

Whether to Update the links without prompting

to update the links with prompting

or not to update the links.

You can make a appropriate selection there and save the work book.

Thanks, but I have to do that for each workbook saved.

Are there another solution to avoid this problem when I save new workbook ?
