ECC6 SR3 IDES Installation error

Hi all,

I am installing ECC6 SR3 IDES my system configuration is

RAM: 4 GB

HDD: 320 GB

CPU: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 420 @ 1.60GHz

While installing ECC6.0 SR3 in Run ABAP Reports phase (Phase 48) an error occured. Error Details

ERROR 2008-10-15 15:12:55.757

FRF-00025 Unable to call function. Error message: Time limit exceeded. .

INFO 2008-10-15 15:12:55.758

RFC connection closed.

ERROR 2008-10-15 15:12:55.760

MUT-03025 Caught ERfcExcept in Modulecall: Time limit exceeded..

ERROR 2008-10-15 15:12:56.4

FCO-00011 The step runRUTTTYPSET with step key |NW_Onehost|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_Onehost_System|ind|ind|ind|ind|2|0|NW_CI_Instance|ind|ind|ind|ind|11|0|NW_CI_Instance_ABAP_Reports|ind|ind|ind|ind|2|0|runRUTTTYPSET was executed with status ERROR ( Last error reported by the step :Caught ERfcExcept in Modulecall: Time limit exceeded..).

Hi Debasis Sahoo

Stop the Installation

Stop SAP services (if any) in services.msc

Stop the DB

Restart OS

Once it is up :

Start the DB

Start SAP services, if you had stopped any

Start the Installation

It solved !!

Hi Alex,

Please check the detail logs that can be found in the SAP installation directory. (in th path C:/windows/programfiles/SAP/...)
