sales area customer master

Hi Sapients

if there r 2 sales org ;

3 dist channel

2 div

& 3 a/c grp

how many sales area r formed ?

& in each sales area 1 customer is created then how many customer will be there totally

kindly let me know the logic

Answers would be highly rewarded !

Dear Srikanth,

There would be 12 Sales Areas in total.

The logic behind is 2 (Sales Orgn) X 3 (Dist Channel) X 2 (Divisions) = 12

Now if you create 1 Customer Code for each Sales area there would be 12 Customers.

Also if a single Customer is extended to all Sales Area, then there would only one Customer Code...

Account Group group does not impat the number if Sales Area.

Total 12 Sales Areas & account groups have no relation to the sales area. Account group is for Customer master (sd) & vendor master (mm). For each account group diffrent field selection will be there.

One more point.. Account group determined number ranges.

hi,

2 s.org x 3 dist chan x 2 div = 12 sales area

depends upon the account group it will varies. if you a using 1 account group for 12 sales area for 1 customer then total will be 12. for 3 account group will be 36

Hi

This is an S.D INTERVIEW QN

3 SALES ORGS

2 DISTRIBUTION CHANNELS

2 DIVISIONS

No of sales areas will be 3x2x2=12

There will be 12 sales areas

Account group has nothing to do with sales areas

The main functionality of Account group is to have what fields Selection you need for a customer master

Whether it is a one one time account

And for setting up partner determination for CMR

Pls dont confuse yourself with account group and sales areas
