Virtual Characteristic using BADI is not working

Hello Gurus

I wrote BADI (RSR_OLAP_BADI) implementation for populating virtual characteristic . I defined this on the Infoset. Virtual characteristic Implementation is not working, I tried to debug using RSRT - It is not reaching the breakpoints in Define and compute methods

However, in RSRT, when I choose Generate Report option, Break point occurs in Define method, but when I choose "execute debug" option it is not reaching the breakpoint. Desired result is not obtained.

When I used RSRT2 --> Select your Query and Click on Tech Info.

I can see Virtual Char/KF as "NO"

Hi Himanth, I believe virtual chars work only on Cube /ODS objects.

To make it work on an infoset please refer to the blog below...

I appreciate your response.

I looked at link you are provided. I have already build the BADI as per the Blog in the link. I tried by creating query on both Multiprovier and Infoset. It is not working.

In both cases - Virtual Char/Key figure attribute in technical properties turned to 'NO'.
