Is there a way to add materials in to sales orders through mass change?

No you have to use LSMW or BDC to add new line items in sale orders

Tried to add using VA05 > Edit > Mass change> Add material..

didnt seem to work..

Are you sure of including via VA05 ?? I believe you can change the existing material in sale order to a different material code and you cannot include a new line item.

Please confirm once you are able to include.

Hi Lakshmipathi,

Using Va05 > Edit> Mass Change > Material, we can change an existing material.

But we cannot add a new material.

You may use LSMW or may use BDC-Upload.
