hi,

how to change the authorization level for a user for authorization object P_ORGIN HR Master Data.

iam trying to use su21, but i didn't find any option?

can some xpalin me the process to this in step by step?

i just wanted to change the authorization from R to W.

i tried to my xtent, couldn't find a solution.

Hi

Go to PFCG (if you got authroization for such Tcode)

Search for the role that is assigned to the User

Press change button.. then go to Authorization tab

press change button under Maintain authorization data and generate profiles

Expand Human Resources section - Then check for "HR : Master data" (P_ORGIN) and expand the same.

Now just press on change button against 'Authorization level' and you can change from R to W or whatever.

Save and Generate.

Even from SU21 you can directly go to PFCG via Menu bar - Environment - Role Maintenance.

if i wanted to change authorization for a t-code in a particular role for a user how shoild i do this?

this may sound easy for u, iam a learner ?help me please.

Hi

once you are at Change profile view (step no. 4 in my earlier note) you not only see just Authorization objects but you can see the T-codes, objects, infotypes along with their level of authorization access.. so go to tcode section and follow the same steps mention in my previous mail.. and do changes as per your requirement. Just dont forget to re-generate the profile again once you are done with that.
