Doubt regarding PSPNR of PRPS table in PS?

Hi Guys,

While creating WBS elements PSPNR will be automatically generated by the SAP in PRPS table.

The length of the PSPNR is 8(NUMC) mean 99 Million records Max. what if the system crosses 99 Million is there anyway we can increase the size of the PSPNR in configuration or is there any alternative way?

There is no way to increase this number range. But you won't need it.

I am at a location where WBS Elements are being used extensively and they are nearing 99 Million.

One suggestion is to definitely archive. Any other thoughts though?

project systems objects are very few in numbers - check out how many projects run in your company - even if each project has 100 WBS's evaluate the time required to reach 99 million !!

by the time it reaches 99 mill your grand children will retire

anyway the tech answer is that you should look to archive your data

Main coding mask in such a way...it reach upto 99 million.
