Hi All,
Please can someone help me out for the RFC destination problem.
I have done the following.
1. Created a communication channel with details like server name and sap gateway and user id password details of my dev system in my xi integration directory.
2. Given a program Id first then I created the rfc destination in sm59 and registered my destinationa and program id.
3.The business systems are present in the sld and dev and xi can ping each other.
4.Connection type is T in sm59.
Is there something I have missed.. as it gives me an error
" program abc not registered ."
I also checked in smgw.. this entry is not present.
any other place where I could check to rectify this?
Thanks.

Hi XI user
Problem is resolved. Please close the thread and make it as answered. This will help when you again want to create a new thread and people will not try to answer this.
Thanks

Thanks everyone.
The issue was that the server connections between the XI server and Dev server were giving an issue..hence the program id wasnt been seen in smgw.
We did the full cache refresh and its working now.
Thanks for all your help.. points are given.

Hi
Register your program id according to Michal Blog.
Now check following things:
1 Your Program ID is same in RFC adapter
2 Program ID is case sensitive
3 Check IP address in RFC destination is R/3 IP not XI.
4 After registering your program id, check in SMGW.
5 Test Remote loging

Hi,
The RFC Server Parameters: Application gateway Server and Service you have mentioned in your Sender RFC Channel should be of your XI server and not of the ecc dev server.
In sm59 transaction you need to give the ecc dev gateway host and service name.
This will resolve your issue.Let me know in case of any further issues.
Thanks
Amit
