Secondary ed cess in domestic po

Hi Friends,

I have created Po and Maintained Tax code and condition Record for BED, ECS, Sec E Cess. In MIGO also IN the secondary Education Cess Tab, The value is displaying. But CeNVAT account is notupdating for SEC E cess. I have maintained JI6 T/E key for JSEP, and its account determination is done in OB40. So please convey, what else I have to check?

Hi,

Go to SPRO > Logistics - General > Tax on Goods Movements > India > Account Determination > Specify Excise Accounts per Excise Transaction > here maintain following;

ETT  Subtrn Typ DC ind Acct name
 
GRPO            CR     CLEAR

GRPO            DR     PLAAT1
GRPO            DR     RG23AED
GRPO            DR     RG23AT1
GRPO            DR     RG23BED

GRPO 01         DR     RG23AT1
GRPO IP         CR     CLEAR
GRPO IP         DR     ONHOLD
GRPO IP         DR     RG23AED

GRPO IP         DR     RG23BED
GRPO IP         DR     RG23ECS
GRPO IP         DR     RG23SED

And then do account determination for same in SPRO > Logistics - General > Tax on Goods Movements > India > Account Determination > Specify G/L Accounts per Excise Transaction

Hi Pankaj,

Thanks for reply. I have Maintained all the accounts as you said. For BED, Ecs values are posting to concerned accounts. But for secondary Ed. Cess Values srenot flowing to concerned account26361218, which I have given for GRPO--RG23AT1. Please Explain, What Else I have to maintain...

hi ,

have u maitained JHX1 as the 100% condition in condition record FV11.

or

Again ,check the Maitain Excise Default settings. in SPRO

here maintain the JSEP as the AT1 condition.

Hai,

Check the excise registration details whether it is activated for "Liable to AT1" this is for S.E.Cess in the path SPRO/Logistics Gen/Tax on goods Mov/India/Basic settings/Excise registration.
