packing material

we had created couple of materials with material type as VERP(Packing). we are planning to procure this materials on DC name and DC will do stock transfer to other stores.

unless until i activate the value and qty update for this material type system won't allow for any inventory management and stock transfer.

what r d consequences if i do so.is there any other way where i can handle this scenario.

Hi Ram,

Packaging materials (VERP)

Packaging materials are used to transport goods and come with the goods free of charge!!.

You can manage your article master record of this article / material type on both a quantity basis and value basis.

No consequences will be there is you use VERP article type.
