GuiXT on FBL5N

Hi,

I'm new to GuiXT, and I've read about the documentation on GuiXT. Normally it's used to customizing the selection options on a standard SAP transaction. I have a requrirement to add extra fields on the output of FBL5N and append an already developed report on the bottom of the output.

Does anyone know if it's possible to do using GuiXT?

Hi

No, it's not possible to do it by GuiXT: it's only to change the existing input/output fields of a screen, so if the field doesn't exist, u can't do nothing.

And you should consider FBL5N return a list (or ABAP or GRID) so in this situation GuiXT doesn't work.

There are some BTE (see trx FIBF) to update the layout of FBL5N and u can customize the layout (after displayng the list try to go to SETTING).

It is possible to achieve what you need with GuiXT, but it requires a licensed component called InputAssistant. I can provide more details if you are still seeking a clean way of achieving the same, without replicating and maintaining parallel ABAP transactions.
