Problem while loading the data through set up tables...

Hi,

I unhided 2 fields from the data source 2lis_02_itm.

I modified the BW flow accordingly for these 2 fields.

I deleted the data in the setup tables and loaded again(INIT) to

have data for these 2 fields in BW.

But strange thing is that I get only 0 values for these 2 newly added

fields.

Any idea why this is happening?

Hi,

please make sure that base table contains data for those fields.

also let us know whether they are enhanced to the extract structure or not ? if yes debug the exit and check out whether logic populates the data or not.

If the fields are populated in PSA, ACTIVATE the update/transfer rules even if they are already active

Yes I have checked its populated in acceptance , so all is fine till there.

Check data first at PSA these fields are getting populated or not..?

Some times new extraction program wont be generated properly and creates this problem. If data available till PSA and not available in target, try to debug, you will know the reason.

You can re-generate program using RSRV.

Hi,

Just check if these fields appear in the extract structure of the data source and are present properly in appended structure.

It is possible that they are not appended propely in the struture or may be the appended structure is not active

Are these two custom fields or std fields?

You have to first find what is the source of data for these two fields. Sometimes when its a custom fields, there might be a exit written to populate the field - you need to check the code if it is restricting the data population.

Hi Jeetu,

Goto RSRV --> Tests in Transaction RSRV --> All Elementary Tests --> ODS Objects --> Check the Status of the Generated Program of a Data Store Object

Perform " Check the Status of the Generated Program of a Data Store Object " test. adjust if any inconsistancies by choosing Correct Error Button.

If this is also not working, then try to activate ODS again.

I did that way , there is no inconsistency in the program.
