De Capitalisation of Asset

Dear Experts,

We have done the followings:-

1. Settled AUC Asset(13000005) using AIAB/AIBU route to Asset (301670) for Rs.110000/-

(Capitalisation Date 26.07.08 and entry date 26.09.08)

2. Run Depreciation using AFAB for Period Sep'08.

3. Now we found that we have capitalised excess of Rs.5000/-

We want to reduce the value of Asset from 301670 for Rs.5000/-

4. Reverse the depreciation posted against Rs.5000/-

What is the T-Code please advise.

You cannot reverse the depreciation. You can post correction to the asset with the same posting date as original transaction. If periods are open for Sept, rerun the depreciation else run normal depn in Oct. System will post adjus entries to that effect.

What is the T-Code to reduce the Asset value by Rs.5000/-.

Please use AB08 to reverse depreciation document. it will work.
