posting period

while doing migo the document date and posting date are within sep 2008 to october 2008 as thesystem shows posting is possible between 2008/10 to 2008/09.but while posting in the above said interval system shows the error that posting is not open for 09.2008 /10.2008.while in /nomsy the current period shows that

0ct 2008 and in/nmmpv the current period (month/year) of the control record is 10.2008/how to solve the issue

From what I see you could post the document only in October.. as the period on your FI side seems like it has been closed for september.

For a document to go through You should have a period parallely open in MM and FI. Yo ucould allow back posting in MM, but the period should also be open in FI- i.e. OMSY

Check in OB52 whether the current period ie 10.2008 s open for postings.
