IT 21 Nationality

Hi,

When I create dependent`s data in IT21, I get the Nationality field being filled up from the employee`s Personal Data . Could anyone tell me how do I blank this out in IT21 create screen.

Hi you can write a field exit and make '' " blank as default value

Otherewise go to SE51 MPXXXX00 SCREEN 2000 CHANGE

GO TO PBO click on p stucture and write a routine over there

for defualting feild as blank

do u want to deactivate the feild than check V_T588M screen no 2029 pa0002

Hi Sikindar,

I do want this field to be active on the screen, but blanked out.. without the Nationality details being filled already.

It is also acceptable if I could blank out this field before saving it to the database, so I`m writing the login in the IN_UPDATE method of my BADI.
