CO error

Dear all

When i create the PO for Project material (a/c assignement is 'P'), I get this error,

"Account 400000 requires an assignment to a CO object"

Kindly suggest me.

Please check if the G/L account 400000 is assigned to the same chart of accounts under the controlling area. check in T. code FSP0 for the proper maintenance of G/L account.

As u r creating a PO with account assignment "P", u should maintain WBS element on which u would like to capture the PO Cost in item details, account assignment tab.

Enter WBS element or Network in item details account assignment tab in PO.

As per the field status group of the GL (P/L) account , a CO object is made as required entry, which I think is correct.

Hi,

Please ensure to create your GL account as Balance sheet account and there wouldn't be any cost element created for this account.
