Overconfirmation in order

I have mention in OPK4 error when overdelievery exeeded and mentioned in Materail master worksheduling view Overdelievery tolerace as 0.0%.

Still at the time of confirmation system only gives only warning message while confirming more quantities.

Kindly give the solution so that system will not permit overdelievery.

Hi Chandru,

Yes, although standard setting (OPK4) is there but for better result you have to use User Exit.

- CONFPP04 PP order confirmation: Customer-specific input checks .

- CONFPP05 PP order confirmation.: Customer enhancements during saving.

THis exits are already used for some other reasons.

can it be possible that because of this exits it is not showing error message( might be because of some updation at the time of confirming from program)

Exactly i am unable to find out if the settings in OPK4 is for error message for overdelievery and material master overdelievery TAB is also not chhecked then why system is not showing error message.

Hi Chandru,

If you have already used that user Exits for another pupose than no problem, you can put more checks to it.

We also use this exits for this purpose along with some other checks also.

Make sure you have the option in OPK4

Underdelivery tolerance is cheked

Overdelivery tolerance is checked

and

E Error when quantity falls below underdelive

E Error when overdelivery tolerance is exceed

Hello everybody,

Problem is now more specific System is giving Error message in standard process but when i am inserting operation in between two operation with different control key used for rework

Then for overconfirming that operation only it is not showing error messge but showing only warning message.

Correct Plant and order type are mentioned in OPK4 and its a Error message mentioned

But still while confirming its giving only warning message

and also unlimited overdielvery is also not mentioned

But only thing is that confirmation is done by QM people thats why control Key is different.

Dear,

System will not stop you if the Confirmed Quantity is more than the Qrder Quantity

The Solution would be to change the Warning Messag to Error Message for the Message No. RU117

You can do it with the Transaction: OPJB: Change the Message Type for RU117 from W to E.

This is the Only solution possible.with In OPK4 you for the combination of plant and order type,

select the following for over delivery - X-Error when over deli tol is exceeeded.

Please check whether Unlimited Overdeliver check box is activated in the Goods Recipet tab of the Production order header. Also please see that you have saved your configuration, and by trying a new order.
