Basic Pay change in the mid of PY Period

Hi Experts

I have a case of a fortnightly Payroll,in which there is a basic pay change in the mid of the payroll period, and because of this all the Wage types are appearing twice in the RT Table.Though calculations are correct.

What could be causing this and how can we rectify it??

Hi

I think it normal behaviour only. Because the pay compnent are increased in the mid of the pay period.

For example if basic is $1000 from 01012008 to 07012008 on 12012008 it is changed to $1200

For the first 7days it has to calculate from on $1000 rate and the rest caluculate on $1200.

It is split of wage type rate

thanks for the replies....

but the issue here is that depending upon a person's basic salary, there is a term 'notional base salary' which is 75% of basic salary.This is only for display purpose on the pay advice.

In such a case this Notional Base Salary is getting displayed as 150% instead of 75%. this is because it is taking data from those wt's that are appearing twice.How it can be resolved..???

this is due to partial period splits.....if you do not want twice then remove the split indicators using a PCR
