hi

i think you have not create customer master data

go through this path and transaction codes

first these steps are maintain

customer master record maintain

a. define account groups t. code obd2

b. create customer account number range t code XDN1

c. assign customer no range t code OBAR

after you go through this path

sap easy access-- accounting-- financial accounting-- accounts receivables-- master record--fd01create

The Error is reflecting because the customer must be maintained in Sales Area and also the whenever you are making an input of customer then it should be of 10 digits, if not then it should get converted to 10 digits.

customer master record matain

1. define account groups t. code obd2

2. create customer account number range t code XDN1

3. assign customer no range t code OBAR

4. Define accounting clerks

5. define industries

customer creation

easy access - accounting - financial accounting - A/R - master records - FD01 create

customer sales area matain T.code VD01 and change VD02

I think your customer not having sales view, try to create customer using XK01

Using XK01? But then it is creation of vendor but not customer, right?
