tax code creation problem..?

hi all

Can anybody explain me how to create tax code for my company code in IDES.

I tried to create new tax code in FTXP..

System is asking for tax jusdricaton..

Please guide me how to proceed further

hi

first u will matian this steps

1. define condition types t .code obyz

2. define accounting keys t.code obcn

3. define tax procedure t.code obyz

specific ur company code procedure matian

4. Define tax codes t.code FTXP

before ur tax procedure assign ur country Ex in

t.code obbg assign ur country in procedure IDEAS

5. define tax accounts t.code ob40

while u posting customer/vendor before ur tax procedure assign to ur country.

Hi,

Your tax procedure is activated for Jurisdiction, if you wanted to maintain jurisdiction u need to create (SPRO - Financial Accounting - Financial Accounting global Settings - tax on sales and Purchases - basic settigns - define jurisdiction codes )

if you do not want to maintian jurisdiction code u can de activate that

- for deactivating first u need to delete existing jurisdictions

(same path above given - give your tax procedure - system will show the jurisdiction codes - delete )

then go to specify structure for jurisdiction codes ( same path ) here delete your procedure from jurisdiction)

then system will not ask for any jurisdiction
