Hi all,

I am trying to make a sales order. at the time of saving sales order for amount 300000i am getting following warning message.

Customer has exceeded credi limit - INR 300000

customer has exceeded commitment limit - INR 300000

do you want to continue?

I did not defined any credit limit or commitment limit.

Even in general setting i didnt define limit to customer. From where I am getting this warning message?

Any Idea?

Regards

Shashi

That warning messages are not neccesary to be set up at BP level. You can define that through Payment Term.

Check your Payment term to find it out.

Hi Gordon,

Thanks for the reply,

But even in payment terms no credit or commitment limit is set. It applies to all customers...

Even If I make INR 250 the warning message is comming

Any inputs

Goto Administration -> System Initialization -> General Settings -> BP tab -> Customer Activity Restrictions -> Uncheck Credit Limit and Commitment Limit

Hi,

Thanks it works, But I dont understand I want that check boxes to be activated. If required I will be giving credit and commitment limit.

If you set the credit limit restriction, the system checks the limit even if you set it to 0. So if you did not want the warning, you should fill the limit with a great value.
