Dear All,
When I try to create absence quota for a particular employee, for the quarter ( 01.10.2008 - 31.12.2008 ) through report RPTQTA00, I get the error- 'You have not selected any Generation Rules'. For the rest of the employees correct quota is getting generated. Please suggest the solution.
Thanks and Regards,
Kanupriya

Hi Revathi,
I checked the Infotypes 0000 and 0001 for this employee. Only one action and one organisational assignment record exists for this employee. The record entries are also correct. One problem was there with IT0008 of this employee. Some incorrect wagetypes were allotted to this employee which were manually corrected w.e.f. 01.10.2008. But this should not impact absence quota generation.
Please suggest the solution.
Thanks and Regards,
Kanupriya.
Hi Vikram,
This employee joined on 21.05.2008 in Kochi. Only Hiring Action has been run for this employee till date. But was assigned incorrect wagetype for HRA. We corrected the wage type w.e.f. 01.10.2008 but left the wagetype from 21.05.2008-30.09.2008 as it is. So should the previous wage types also be corrected?
Thanks and Regards,
Kanupriya
Hi Sikindar,
I am not trying to run another action for this employee. He was allotted absence quotas for Quarter 1 and Quarter 2 through manual entry because even at that time this report was not working for this employee. Now the quota needs to be generated for the current quarter.
I can't check PT_QTA10 because of authorization problem.
Thanks and Regards,
Kanupriya
Hi Sikindar,
In table V_001P_ALL the value of 'Personnel subarea grouping for time recording' is '01' for correct employee and is '00' for the incorrect one. Both these employees are of same PA but different PSAs. What is the significance of this value as all the correct employees in this PA are having value as '01'.
Thanks and Regards,
Kanupriya.
Hi Kanupriya,
Do you know what generation rule group this employee should belong to? If so, go to that rule on table V_T559L and check every tab.
It could be a setting on one of the tabs.
It could also be in the Validity/deduction interval or Vaidity period for Default Values.
I had a similar issue and it turned out that it was because I had the validity/deduction interval looking at two different options. The Valid From was set to Date type and the Valid To was set to calendar year! It caused my employees to not accrue if they had any change in their actions (ie: transfers, promotions etc) The system kept trying to reset the validity period.
Hope this helps.

1) make sure that EE belongs to the same group or not?
2) check the date you generating and date of joining
