PR thru MRP

Hi All,

I had a doubt for PR created after MRP run,

As this PR's are been created by system itself then will thr be any release startegy governing them ?

If its required that these PR's should not be coevered under any release strategy then how to proceed for this ...

Pl help thanks in advance

Hi,

Usually PR's which are generated by MRP are not covered by Release Strategy.

If you want to include the Release strategy for the PR's generated by MRP then you need to create a Characteristics for Creation indicator with field name ESTKZ

So as per standard SAP functioning MRP PR's wnt have any release strategy rite ?

Hi,

Create the one characteristic for creation indicator (CEBAN-ESTKZ) add in class and in your release procedure. for creation indicator B -Material requirements planning this requisition triggers the release procedure..

then in that case you need to define new doc type and this doc type should not be included in the Release process..
