Regarding RAM distribution

Hi All,

We have 33 GB of RAM in our Production System and at peak hours only 1 GB of free RAM remains.I want to see the distribution of the RAM across the server how can I do this?.Secondly I have to increase the buffer parameter values in ST02 should I increase the RAM before going to proceed?

Hi Prashant,

Are you facing any performance issues ?

If yes then you need to find out the exact root cause before adding the memory.

you can monitor the "memory usage" by :

Tune Summary (transaction st02)

ST06

SM04

SM50

Yes Umesh we are facing performance issue due to access swaps in ST02 so we decided to increase the buffer parameter values which are coming in red mark for doing so memory should be free enough but as I wrote in my last message that at peak hrs memory remains only 1 GB.How to see the distribution of RAM ?
