How to run Add-ons BC Set and Configuration Express

I have installed both the add-ons BC Set and Configuration Express. But I am not able to see it in application.

I have set both to enabled and assigned to the user with option automatic.

Hi Samir

Sorry about that, but the subject line of your thread doesn't mention Copy Express. When you start the add on it will add a menu line at the bottom of the tools menu. Click on this to activate the Copy Express Window. Unfortunately it does not automatically tab to this window, so press Alt Tab to change focus from SAP to Copy Express.

It is not in the menu, it is on the portal. But what I am unsure of is why you are interested in BC Sets if you have Copy Express?

I have already installed Copy Express.

I just want to know how to activate/execute/use Copy Express ?

Does it appear in Tools menu ? OR it is part of Administration menu ?

Hi Samir

Have you checked the version support information on the portal to see if BC sets is still supported for your version? As I mentioned, BC Sets is being phased out and replaced for now by Copy Express. There is a new add-on that I saw recently, but my assumption is that it is only supported in 2007 onwards. Best would be to look at Copy Express, it should be on your installation CD.

I have already installed Copy Express. But where should I check in menu for its availability ?

Because in Add on manager and add-on administration, I have completed the necessary settings.

You missed an important fact. What version are you running?

BC Sets has been discontinued as of 2007 and we are now using Copy Express.
