Inbound Plug

Hi,

Can we use more than one Inbound Plugs for a single view. If yes what is the use?

For example i have three view in one application. Each view can navigate to other two views. For each view i have one inbound plug and two outbound plugs. There is no problem in navigation in run time.

So what is the use of creating more than one Inbound plug for a single view?

Hi Krish,

If you want two buttons in different views to be triggering to/pointing to same view in the next navigation you can have two inbound plugs for that view.

For eg. if you have a view which takes input from manager and other view which takes input strictly from non manager employee, but you want to navigate both to same success view you can have two inbound plugs for the success view.

Yes we can have multiple inbound plug.But multiple inbound plug doesn't sence.Multiple out bound plug makes sence..

Hi,

You can have multiple Inbound plugs and multiple Outbound plugs. But we can manage with only one inputbound and multiple outbound plugs. So multiple Outbound plugs makes sense and not multiple inbound plugs

Hi,

You can have multiple inbound plugs in a single view.

As you said 2 views will always go the 3rd view.

If the requirement is different for 2 views then you need to have differnt inboun plugs.

Otherwise single is enough

Yes you can have different in bound plug on single view.

adv of useing is that u can have differnt sort of action on different plug

Yes, You can have different parameter set for each.

Hi,

Yes you can have multiple inbound plugs in a single view. The use of it is suppose you have a Result View which can be reached through different paths so you can have different inbound plugs to get to that end Result View.
