Dear,
Yes you can change the material quantity in BOM but if you wnat same should refelect in existing planned order then run MRP through planning mode 2 or 3- deleted and recreated. In case of Production order then go for Read PP master data.

Hi,
Yes you can change material qty in BOM after MRP run also. But it will not reflect automatically in planned orders which are already created.
You can check with re explode BOM option while running MRp run again.
For all new praposals after BOM change new qty of material will be planned by system.
May this will help you.

Ashish

If you do so , then rerun MRP with indicator reexplode BOM and routing . IF you change after creation of production order ( provided no GR/GI ) then read PP master data .

Dear,
For A - PO is created and MIgo done.and B quantity is change. now if run MRP will it affect to RM material ;- NO
1) If u are already procured/ produce the material then can't do any thing.
2) If u have taken any action on the PR or planned order which are get firmed then u have to delete it manually.
3) While running MRP please select the planning mode -3
Then system will delete the old PR and planned order and creates new proposal with respect the new BOM.
Run MRP for header level.
