XI 3.0 vs PI 7.0

Could anyone let me know the difference between XI 3.0 and PI 7.0.

XI3.0 and PI 7.0 are same only. only some of the features of XI 3.0 are enhanced in PI 7.0.

HI,

XI 3.0

1. J2Se adapter engine was replaced with J2EE Adapter Engine.

2. BPM was available from XI 3.0

3. Part of Netweaver 2004

PI 7.0

1. XI renames as Process Integration

2.. Part of Netweaver 2004s.

3. Has all features of XI 3.0 and every SP of Pi 7.0 has a corresponding release for XI 3.0.

4. Runs on WAS 7.0 and has same features as XI 3,0

Hi,

XI 3.0 is a part of Nw2004 and PI 7.0 ( Process Integration) is a part of NW2004s. Both provide the same features and every SP release of PI has a corresponding release of XI .

Hi,

XI stands Exchange Infrastructure and PI stands Process Integration. Architecture itself little bit change and PI have more advanced functions like Multi Mapping and so many advanced functions. XI most of all disadvantages are sorted out in PI version.
