Maintain quote not possible after quote deadline

Hi,

I have a requirement, where system should not allow me to enter the quotation value after the quotation deadline date.

Assume that 13-Oct-08 is the quotation deadline date. If i try to enter the quotation value in ME47 on 14-Oct-08 system should not allow me to enter the quote.

How to do this in Standard SAP settings,

hi,

> check here: SPRO--> MM --> Purchasing --> RFQ/Quotation --> create RFQ --> See in it for administrative data, header --> make the deadline sub. field mandatory, validity end period mandatory etc...

When you maintain the quotation after deadline date, the system shows the message, you can make the message as ERROR message...

try and check...

Still after the above settings, i can able to maintain quote after deadline.... how to restrict this
