Query regarding SM37

Hi All,

Today our functional team came with a issue that they are unable to see the previous months background jobs(before August) in SM37 but they are able to see current month plus 2 months back jobs status.Earlier they were able to see all previous months data.what could be the reason behind this? Is this something related to authorization oe something else?

If we want to see the history of jobs in the period of jan 2008 than what should we do because we can't see it in SM37, where the history data gets stored?

Hi Prashant,

This could be due to standard Jobs scheduled to clean up the old jobs e.g. SAP_REORG_JOBS, SAP_REORG_JOBSTATISTIC

Hi,

Make sure the seach criteria what your Functional team using

is correct.

B/g Job logs depends in your system depends on the retention period(Job which cleans up the old logs).

For exp: Job RSBTCDEL: Deletes old batch jobs
