Hi,

If i read your question correctly, are you trying to say that "you want to convert Planned requirement to Planned Order ? "

1. In that case, you need to generate Independent Requirements (PIR) through TCode MD61.

2. After Generating the requirement you can have a MRP Run through TCode MD02

3. You can check the Stock generated in MD04, Stock requirement list and select the Planned Order generated now to be converted to Production Order.

4. You can also use TCode CO40 to convert Planned Order to Production Order.

Hope all of us have contributed to your question.

Hence requesting you to close the same after rewarding the points.

Hi

As righly said by Harrish.....follow the procdure.......only.....

If taking MRP run at plant level that is whatever is planned for different material in perticular plant then instead of MD02 go for MD01 i.e. at plant level.

Hi Mani,

Please elaborate on your requirement, what is the real scenario you are talking about?

But then as the procedure is you can create PIR( Planned independent requirements) in MD61 which will represent your requirement of the future, then you will run the MRP (Materials requirements planning) in T-code MD02 which will generate the planned orders based on the various settings in the master data, then you can go in the md04 screen and can convert the planned orders into production orders manually.

Hope this clears the process in general. But if you can throw more light into your issue, then it will be helpful.

Hi,

Is your question PIR (Planned ind. req) conversion to Planned order?

After creation of PIR in MD61, Run MRP (MD02). Planned orders will be created automatically, then u can convert this into Production Order (CO40/ MD04), which really meant for Plant/ Shop floor.

Dear,

Your question is not clear could you please elaborate?

You can create planned independent requirement in MD61 then run MRP for that material in MD04. It will create planned order then you can convert it in to production order in MD04.

Hi,

If you want Individual Planned Order against each individual PIR pls do the following setting in Material Master :

Go to MRP-4 View----> Under Tab BOM Explosion/ Dependent Requirements -

> Indv / Coll. Indicator as 1(Individual requirements only).

Revert if any doubt.

Hope this helps.
