Asset accounting - Data migration

Hi All

One of our client is planning to create new company code and migrate all data from existing company code.

my questions is:

While migrating asset data what are the things we should take note:

We propose to migrate only NBV and accumulated depreciation but client wants to migrate historical data as well.

Thus I am not sure what are the difficulties we are going to face if we agreed to migrate the historical data.

Can you please enlighten me on this.

Hi,

When it is from one company code to an otherone use tranfer.

With SE16 (ANLA or ANLC you can make a down load from the asset numbers you want to transfer. This you can use to prepaire an EXCEL for an upload by using LSMW
